At the age of forty, already married with a wife and four children, Nigel Marsh had an epiphany about his life. He was working, eating and drinking too much and not spending enough time with his family. So he quit his job and spent a year at home thinking about how to live a better life. That was eight years ago; since then, he has continued to think and write about work-life balance issues. He has some strong feelings on the subject, and he shares them below in his presentation at the 2010 TED conference.
